David Kennard is the Principal at KD Abercrombie Ltd. He has over 20 years investment management experience and spent the last 10 years leading major transformation programmes and projects of all varieties (strategic, regulatory, system implementation, migration, outsourcing, etc). David has significant business change management knowledge, together with management experience in blue chip organisations.

He has a broad knowledge of asset management and the functions therein including working on significant Front Office, Middle and Back Office, Marketing, IT, Legal and Compliance initiatives.

Recently, he has primarily worked on leading outsourcing initiatives onshore and offshore within the context of Front and Middle Office programmes.

Over the last 5 years, he has managed some of the most challenging programmes in the marketplace leading small teams of handpicked Consultants, each with at least 15 years direct experience in asset management. During his time in the City, David has built up a number of contacts that allows him to select the best possible and more importantly, relevant Associates to join his team for each assignment, depending on the Client/Programme requirements.

David has an independent approach with much experience in financial services, both institutional and retail in the UK and Europe, programme management, leadership, negotiation skills and decision-making.

He is also trained using Six Sigma project methodology and is also a Chartered Management Consultant.
